General rules for oven glass
Start with diluted washing-up liquid on a damp soft cloth. Use only a product approved for cold oven-door glass, keep it from seals and markings, and never use a glass scraper or harsh abrasive.
Check the label
Isolate power and let the oven cool. Consult the model manual before removing a door or pane and protect edge seals, coatings and printed markings.

Oven Glass can be damaged by a cleaner that is harmless on another material. Identify the exact fibre, coating, finish, care code and construction before treatment.
Start with the least aggressive route
Start with diluted washing-up liquid on a damp soft cloth. Use only a product approved for cold oven-door glass, keep it from seals and markings, and never use a glass scraper or harsh abrasive.
Judge only when dry
A remaining patch may be residue, pigment, dye loss, finish change or material damage. Stop if a hidden test changes colour, gloss, texture, shape or adhesion.
