Start with the least aggressive route
Use washing-up liquid with a soft sponge first. Reserve a maker-approved scraper and hob cleaner for compatible glossy glass, and keep oven spray, abrasives, steam and excess liquid away.
Judge only when dry
A remaining patch may be residue, pigment, dye loss, finish change or material damage. Stop if a hidden test changes colour, gloss, texture, shape or adhesion.
