Bronzer is a cosmetic combination stain: loose mineral pigment can spread mechanically while oils, waxes, esters or silicone in pressed, cream and stick formulas can bind colour to fibres and porous finishes.

If it has just happened, whatever it is on

Lift loose powder dry without brushing. Blot cream or stick bronzer straight up with a clean white cloth, and keep heat away until the mark is gone.
